Privacy Policy

This is Makio’s privacy policy, in which we will account for how we process personal data and how we ensure that the regulation for personal data is complied with. We strive to protect the quality and the integrity of your personal data in the best possible way and we have implemented security measures in order to do so.

To be able to supply our candidates with a personal and varied process, an outplacement process will deal with personal data.

Dear candidate: Which personal data do we collect on you?

The personal data we collect on our candidates may comprise: Name, email address, IP address, telephone number, family related information, data about the dismissal, job history, salary, result of a 360 degree analysis, personal test results, work documents prepared by the candidate e.g. profile document - depending on what is required in the given situation.

Dear customer: Which personal data do we collect on you

The personal data we collect on our customers may comprise: The name of the contact person, email address, IP address, telephone number as well as the company’s bank information - depending on what is required in the given situation.

Why do we collect personal information?

We collect data typically in order to:

  • Provide candidates with a professional and present outplacement process
  • Fulfill a contract signed with our company customers or legal obligations
  • Send newsletters, offers and other relevant information regarding Makio as part of our legitimate interests

Protection and storage of personal data

We only store you personal data for as long as it fulfills the purpose to which your personal data has been collected.

The information is thus deleted e.g. when the customer or candidate relationship ends; however, taking into account the storage duties we have to comply with e.g. the Danish Accounting Act.

The data about the candidate is stored for 6 months after the conclusion of the outplacement process.

Disclosure

As a rule, your personal data will only be transferred or disclosed with your consent.

We may, however, disclose your personal data to public authorities or others due to legal obligations If a company requires a status report regarding an outplacement process we will make sure such a report complies with the rules of the Danish Personal Data Act.

We do not utilise or transfer your personal information for marketing purposes including for sending e-mails with advertisements unless you have given your consent.

Data process with any third party

Makio may choose to utilise data processors including software providers (e.g. for personal tests), website solutions, hosting, social or professional media, backup, security or storage. We will instruct the data processors in how to process your personal data for us and we will enter into a special agreement about this. Data Processors will only process your personal information for the specific purposes for which the information is collected.

We oblige these data processors to treat your personal data confidentially and to take the necessary technical and organisational security measures against the accidental or illegal destruction, loss or deterioration of information. We also oblige them to prevent your personal information from getting to the knowledge of strangers, from being abused or otherwise being treated in violation of the Danish Personal Data Act.

Your rights

You can  at any given time  ask for transferal, a copy, rectification as well as erasure of the personal data we hold about you.
